Snowy pine cones

These beautiful and creative snowy pine cones are inspired by beauty of winter that resembles actual cones. They are very delicious and eye catching and will serve as very impressive dessert at your table.

It may actually seem like a complicated recipe but trust me, it is not and it is great fun to make such art work at home.

For 12 snowy pine cones

Ingredients:

– 6 cups of vegan chocolate biscuits

– ½ cup peanut butter on

– 1 cup vegan butter or coconut oil

– 1 cup powdered sugar

– chocolate cereals to design

Method:

Pulse the vegan biscuits in a food processor until they turn into fine crumbs.

In a large bowl, beat the vegan butter or coconut oil (it is optional) the add half a cup of peanut butter and stir in the crumbs.

Pine cone dough should have this texture

The dough should be soft and not sticky, so when you get the right texture, divide the dough into equal portions, (I have used 1/4 cup) to be exact. Shape each portion into a cone shape to resemble a pine cone. First, start by rolling a small portion of dough into a ball and then gently tapering one end to form a perfect cone.

Cone shaped dough

Last but not least, this step will require a bit more patience but I promise you will love doing it. For the decorative touch gently press the chocolate chips into the dough to mimic the appearance of pine cone scales.

Gently add chocolate chips to the pine cone

The last step would be to dust pine cones with powdered sugar, in order to achieve the snow effect. You can serve them immediately, or can restore in an airtight container in the refrigerator to up to 4-5 days and enjoy them with your friends and family.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe and will get a chance to make it.

Merry Christmas with love.
